…in the iOS Programming world
My name is Claudio Sennhauser.
I have been around computers a rather long time. I bought my first computer with the money I got for Christmas in 1981: a Commodore VC-20. On it, I learned how to program in the BASIC programming language. My love affair with computers began.
Since then I have worked in different technical and non-technical roles. These positions all had one thing in common: they let me participate in one way or another in the evolution of mobile computing. I had the pleasure to be involved with pen-based computing since the very first tablet was created in the late 1980s. Since then I’ve worked on many dedicated mobile platforms, including PenPoint OS, Newton OS, Palm OS, and most recently iOS.
I often had to learn new technologies fast and realized that one way to solidify my own understanding was to document it and to teach it to others.
This website therefore has as much of a purpose solidifying my own understanding as it hopefully does for you, the aspiring iOS developer, in getting started in the exciting world of iPhone and iPad programming.
My goal with this site is to share essential iOS programming knowledge in easy to digest tutorials, articles, and code snippets. All of the code and examples are based on Xcode 9 and Swift 4.
Enjoy looking around and happy coding!
